Visit Kapileshwar Mahadev, a cave temple a short drive from town, and the old Pithoragarh fort above the bazaar.

Heading for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat? Pithoragarh is the last big town before the road climbs towards Dharchula. Sleep well here. The mountains start asking questions after that.

Evenings: a bonfire in the garden. You bring the stories, we bring the wood.
